2023 MG Hector Facelift Revealed In India

MG Motor India has unveiled the new MG Hector facelift. The 2023 MG Hector gets a new front fascia, a revamped cabin, and an extended feature list. This is the first update for the SUV since its launch in 2019.The front fascia of the Hector now features a new 'diamond-pattern' grille which now extends lower down into the bumper. The lower bumper which houses the new sensor module for the ADAS is also new. At the rear, the new MG Hector gets connected tail lamps and a redesigned rear bumper. The side profile remains the same. There are seven exterior paint options now, including a new “Dune brown” shade.Although MG Motor hasn't revealed any details regarding the powertrain of the new Hector, it is expected to carry forward the same powertrain from the outgoing model. As of now, the Hector comes with two engine options - a 1.5-litre petrol with 143 bhp and 250Nm of torque paired with a DCT or CVT, and a 2.0-litre diesel that makes 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed manual.In terms of features, the 2023 MG Hector gets a segment-leading 14-inch touchscreen system, MG Assistant feature, a 360-degree camera, a start/stop button, etc. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, dual front airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and a few more.
